Lundyn Parker is an ex Royal Australian Navy clearance diver. He now works as an underwater photographer for insurance companies. In this role he travels around the globe mainly in his Seawind amphibian aircraft or his 41’ William Garden timber ketch.
His passion is photography and his home, which is his ketch. He is keen on physical fitness and trains at boxing and some less known martial arts. He is a well-known character around the major and minor waterfront yachtsman’s bars of the world.
Roscoe Tanner is an ex professional football player. Currently he works as a bouncer in a pub that he secretly owns. He is shaved bald with the physic of a gorilla. He has massive hands and biceps. He is Lundyn’s best friend from early childhood and his trusted dive buddy.
The General is a mentor to both men having been a good friend of Lundyn’s deceased dad. He runs a knock about gymnasium where the men train. He is a Character in the true sense, having fought in two wars and having a general knowledge of all things and plays the bon vivant and raconteur.
Ho Sin Lee is a villain. He runs a relatively small drug distribution racket from his home in Thailand. His middle brother is his second in charge and does the dirty work.
Karen Philips is a love interest but is undecided on which of the two men she is really attracted to. She has been widowed by the brutal slaying of her husband.
SYNOPSIS: While out abalone diving Lundyn and Roscoe are asked to assist in the rescue of a drifting cruiser. On board they find Karen who is unaware of the massacre that has been committed on the crew of the vessel. It has been a drug deal gone wrong and Roscoe decides to help himself to a wad of cash and some packets of drugs before the water police arrive. Later he regrets the decision but thinks it is too late to tell the police. Ho Sin Lee finds out who has stolen his money and drugs. He assumes it is Lundyn, who has once before, in his role as a navy clearance diver butchered one of his deals. He seeks revenge. Lundyn and Roscoe escape the assassins but Lundyn is sure now who is after them and why. He deals with the problem in his own way. His career in the navy has left him well trained for what lies ahead. Karen, recently widowed is making herself known to both men. She is undecided which one is the real man for her. The General a mentor to both men helps Lundyn and Roscoe. The network of old warriors from previous wars helps his protégés in their quest. Massacres, bombings, assassination and steamy sex litter the trail of the heroes.
