Lundyn Parker's greatest adventures - by JonD

Lundyn Parker and his best mate Roscoe Tanner are a couple of Aussie knock about types. During their incredible adventures they will, fight, root, eat and save society and the even the world from horrors unimiaginable. Loveable rogues but as tough as the land that bred them.

lundyn Parker adventure #11 - 2

December 12th 2006 21:13

Ho Sin Lee, scrambled across to the cruiser from his position on the pilot ladder of the freighter. His mind was a whirl of things to take care of and things he had just done. He did not see his enemy beneath his feet looking up at him from under the waves. He was barking orders to the captain of the cruiser. He was to look like he was going to Singapore, then as it grew dark he would be given further orders. Another transfer ship would be waiting. Ho Sin Lee stretched his arms and flexed his back. He had been constantly on the move since arriving at his home and finding Fong and his men brutally murdered. He did not know who had done it but his suspicion was to blame Parker. He scowled inwardly as he thought about his enemy. How could one man do so much damage, almost accidentally? His whole operation was in tatters. He had travelled as fast as he could. He had many forged documents and as he moved from one place to another he was sure his trail was being well covered. But to be sure he was going to do one more switch. As night was falling he would change ships just one more time to be certain. He was lucky that he had so many crews who were in his pay. He had managed to arrange two more drug shipments and then he would start to re build his empire.

The vessels were both facing in the same direction Lundyn knew that the fast cruiser would take off hard and fast as soon as the transfer was complete. The big freighter would take more time to get under way. He made his escape back under the hull of the freighter and surfaced close to the Seawind. Roscoe and the General leaned over to help pull him on board. No need for secrecy now. As far as every on board knew the transfer of the passenger was a success and the freighter could get under weigh. Lundyn noted even now how it was starting to churn the water with its two huge propellers. Soon it would be over the horizon. In the opposite direction the cruiser was off in a cloud of spray with white water bursting around its bow, as it made its way through the seas. Lundyn shrugged out of his dive gear and was quickly air born as well. As he had not gone any deeper than a few metres with his scuba gear he was safe to fly to a cruising height of 20,000 feet. The General had already alerted his friends where the target would be in position. He gave search area coordinates and it was confirmed that as they were still in international waters and that the Singaporeans would detain Ho until the Thai authorities could pick him up.
